New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy On Saturday said that the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)has diversified its role and has successfully met new challenges by displaying high professional competence and a disciplined and highly skilled work culture and exemplary devotion to duty has been entrusted with great responsibility.

Addressing the CISF personnel at the passing out parade of 11th batch of Assistant Sub Inspector at regional training centre at Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu, Mr Reddy said that the CISF personnel, with their skill, valour, determination and their selfless service to the nation, have been entrusted with the responsibility which enables them to be pride pillar of Indian economy.

CISF has been given security responsibility of majority of Indian airports, Government buildings and important public sector industrial units.

He also pointed out how Prime Minister Narendra Modi government has adopted zero tolerance policy towards terrorism, naxalism and any form of violence.

The Minister congratulated all the personnel who have successfully passed out after training and their families on the occasion and expressed his pleasure on celebrating the auspicious Mahashivratri with them all.



He performed Bhoomi Pooja and laid Foundation Stone for the construction of swimming pool at the Training Centre.
