Comedian Kapil Sharma is set to marry girlfriend Ginni Chatrath on 12 December, 2018. In an interview with IANS, Sharma revealed that the wedding will take place in Chatrath’s hometown of Jalandhar, followed by a reception Kapil’s hometown in Amritsar on 14 December.
Kapil Sharma put all speculations to rest last year in March, when he introduced his long time girlfriend Ginni Chatrath, in an Instagram post. Now, we hear, they are set to get married in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony in the bride’s hometown, Phagwara (near Jalandhar).
According to what sources told Mumbai Mirror, a Mata Ka Jaagran will be organised at Kapil’s sister’s residence on December 10, followed by a Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony at Ginni’s place the next day. And the wedding will take place on December 12 in a lavish five star hotel in Phagwara.
With Kapil having multiple friends in the industry, a reception in Mumbai shall also be organised on 24 December for his industry friends and colleagues. 23 December, reportedly will be the day when he makes his TV comeback with The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony Television.
Recently, he was in his hometown where he binged on the famous Amritsari street food and posted about the same on his Instagram.
