LONDON (Reuters) - British transport company Go-Ahead named Christian Schreyer as its new chief executive from Nov. 5, replacing David Brown who said in May he planned to retire before the end of the year.

Schreyer, 53, a German national, has been working for France-based transport operator Transdev since 2014, most recently in the role of chief executive of North and Central Europe. Before that he worked at Deutsche Bahn.
