New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) Charging the BJP with indulging in horse trading in order to win the assembly polls in Gujarat, the Congress on Thursday demanded registering of an FIR against the Chief Principal Secretary of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in this connection.

Addressing reporters here, AICC spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said, 'The leader of the Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) Hardik Patel has alleged that the chief principal secretary of Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, K Kailashnathan offered him a bribe of RS 1200 crore.
Addressing a rally, Hardik said he is not saleable, otherwise he would not have turned down the offer of RS 1200 crore made by Mr Kailashnathan.'

He said that even before Hardik's allegation, many leaders have accused the BJP of indulging in corruption in this manner.
PAAS Mehsana convener Narinder Patel had also accused the BJP of taking bribe.

'After that Nikhil Sawani has also levelled similar allegations against the party.
The Congress had also issued a tape of the conversation between Narendra Patel and Varun Patel .
Narendra Patel later joined the BJP,' Mr Singhvi said.

Mr Singhvi said that greed and loot have become part of BJP's style of functioning and they cannot do without indulging in bribery and horse trading.
They are always trying to weaken the institutions that strengthen democracy,' he said.

Reminding the Prime Minister of his statement 'Na Khaunga Na Khane Doonga' , Mr Singhvi said, 'When the PM said that "Na Khayunga Na Khane doonga", what does it mean?

Is it only to be used selectively, is it only for people who are not in BJP.'
