Ukraine highly appreciates the strategic partnership with the United States of America and the contribution of U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch to the development of Ukraine-US relations.

"Ukraine highly appreciates the strategic partnership with the United States of America based on clear bipartisan support. Our relations with Washington have never been as effective and substantive as today. I, as the Head of State, have personally made considerable efforts [to development of relations] and really appreciate this important asset of our international policy," President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said during the festivities on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of establishment of the Security Service of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In this context, he highlighted the important role of United States Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch in the promotion of Ukraine-US relations.

“I emphasize: I pledge full support to the Ambassador as the representative of the United States and U.S. President Donald Trump, a great friend of Ukraine and a great friend of mine,” Poroshenko noted.
