The Cleveland Browns' braintrust has never shied away from endorsing embattled players on their roster, and that proved true on Sunday shortly before their clash against the Miami Dolphins at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Browns co-owner Dee Haslam was spotted donning a beanie with the number "95" on the side to show support for Myles Garrett. The Browns DE, of course, is suspended indefinitely by the NFL for clubbing Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph over the head with his helmet.

This is certainly a brazen choice of headwear for Haslam, who evidently appears to be protesting the league's settlement to not reduce Garrett's indefinite punishment.

Haslam's stand comes just a few days after Browns general manager John Dorsey released a statement to assert that Garrett is a man of "high character and unquestionable integrity."

Despite Garrett's actions being as barbaric and indefensible as we've ever seen on the gridiron, Cleveland's front office continues to go out of their way to back him in public.

We aren't saying that they shouldn't support a player they selected with the No.1 overall pick back in 2017, but it seems like the Browns brass is unaware of the fact that Garrett could've done serious damage to Rudolph if his helmet had struck him from a different angle.
