Finally JD(U) got rid of Sharad Yadav: Sanjay JhaBy uniindia

New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) After the Delhi High Court dismissed the plea by the Sharad Yadav faction of JD(U) challenging the Election Commission’s order allowing Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) to use Arrow symbol, the party commented that it had finally “got rid of Mr Yadav".

Talking to UNI, senior JD (U) General Secretary Sanjay Jha said that in his opinion, from the beginning Sharad Yadav had been against Nitish Kumar and conspiring against him.

Charging Mr Yadav with being a pawn in the hands of JD(U), Mr Jha said, “When the Bihar Chief Minister supported Prime Minister’s demonetisation decision, Mr Yadav defied the party’s decision accompanying the Congress to the President against the note ban.”

The Election Commission in its November 17 order had recognised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar-led faction as the real JD(U).

However, the court had granted liberty to the Sharad Faction to challenge the findings of ECI.

Mr Nitish Kumar and Mr Sharad Yadav had parted ways after the former decided to join hands with the BJP in July, triggering a battle for the control of the party.
