Alab seeks its second win in three games with 7-foot-4 Sam Deguara looking to make an immediate impact in his debut set at 7:30 p.m.

The Filipino club expects the Slingers to come out strong after signing former Hong Kong Eastern import Marcus Elliott.

Long-time import Xavier Alexander is also looking to give the Slingers a victory and spoil Alab’s debut in front of its home fans.

Consistency will be key for coach Jimmy Alapag after starting season with a lopsided defeat to Thailand’s Mono Vampire followed by a hard-fought overtime victory over the Macau Wolf Warriors.

Alapag will be banking on imports Khaliff Wyatt and Nick King and locals Jason Brickman and Jordan Heading.

Wyatt is averaging 15.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists and King has 19.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists.

Heading is Alab’s top local scorer with 19.5 points following a 27-point output against Macau while Brickman has dished out 8.5 assists this season.
