Blake Shelton and guest coach Bebe Rexha take on contestants Cam Spinks and Kailey Abel, and it's not all smooth sailing for this pair.

Cam is a country singer at his core and he struggles to be able to change gears and adapt to a different genre. The battle round will take him out of his comfort zone and he seems nervous about it. Kailey, on the other hand, is extremely versatile as a vocalist and can go from pop to soul with ease. For Blake, the deciding factor would be which one of them has the ability to adapt to different genres.

"Kailey and Cam... this is going to be a tough choice. I like both of them," tweets one user, to which another responds, "Such different voices but I really like them... voice and personality!"

They do seem well-matched since they are strong vocalists but when it comes to adaptability, Kailey might have the edge. One user tweets, "Kailey is on my team — Both are really good. Cam has that rock sound & he should really explore that rather than just staying in the country lane Kailey has a strong voice & I hope she stays in They both deserve to go through."

Yet, when they start singing Kane Brown's 'What Ifs', Kailey struggles a little with the lower notes at the start while Cam manages to hit his high notes with absolute ease. And just when it seems there might be a clear winner, they both manage to find their footing and deliver a powerful performance.

Some viewers weren't a fan of the song choice. One tweets, "Kailey Abel vs Cam Spinks get a song that doesn’t quite fit either but they are doing their best with it. She has more of an outgoing approach but he is also bringing the fierceness. It just seems a little forced in both of their voices. She holds more promise for me." Others, however, loved the song, with one tweeting, "Love the song choice for Cam and Kailey!"

Following the performance, the judges had some mixed reviews to give the pair. John Legend says Kailey's energy was captivating, but he leans towards Cam as a vocalist while Nick Jonas says that while Cam was managing to keep up with Kailey vocally, it was her passion that moved him. And while the two of them loved the song choice, Kelly Clarkson thought it was odd, and possibly suited Kailey better, but thought the vocalists nailed it nonetheless. She chooses Cam in the end.

Ultimately, Blake chooses Cam as the winner of this battle, feeling he dug deep enough to find a way to be comfortable with a song that was so far out of his comfort zone.

And while Kailey does have a lot of fans, it appears viewers largely agree with Blake's choice. "Cam just completely jumped and leaped over Kailey," tweets one user while another says, "Kailey is good, but all these girls sound too much alike go Cam."

Since Kailey did not get saved, she will be going home tonight.
