Mumbai, Jun 25 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday slipped by 89.40 points to 35,595.84 on profit booking by local operators at higher level.
The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) eased by 27 points to 10,794.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 35,806.97 and 35,592.06 points respectively.
The sectoral indices like Consumer Durable, Energy, Finance, Telecom and Utilities kept the market low in early trade.
The losers were Tata Motors DVR by 3.85 pc to Rs 174.60, Tata Motors by 3.49 pc to Rs 297.40, ICICI Bank by 2.69 pc to Rs 292.75 and Hero MotoCorp by 1.71 pc to Rs 3578.
The gainers were VEDL by 3.37 pc to Rs 236.35, Infosys by 1.67 pc to Rs 1267.25, Sun Pharma by 1.17 pc to Rs 183.05 and Hind Unilever by 0.86 pc to Rs 1621.35.
