LOS ANGELES (AP) — Domantas Sabonis scored 24 points on 10-of-11 shooting and the Sacramento Kings handed the undermanned Los Angeles Clippers their worst loss of the season, 123-96 on Saturday.

Sabonis set the tone with 15 points in the opening quarter and the Kings’ bench kept it going in the second, building a 28-point lead. They led by 29 in the third and by 31 in the fourth. Sabonis had six assists and five rebounds.

Keegan Murray added 23 points and D’Aaron Fox had 14 points for the Kings, who won their second straight.

The Clippers were again without Paul George (right hamstring tendon strain) and Kawhi Leonard (right ankle sprain), as well as Luke Kennard and Norman Powell. George and Leonard are expected to join the team on their upcoming road trip.

Brandon Boston Jr. scored 18 points off the bench for the Clippers, mostly playing in the fourth. Ivica Zubac had 13 points and 15 rebounds for this 10th double-double of the season and third in four games. Terance Mann added 13 points.

TRAIL BLAZERS 116, JAZZ 111

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Anfernee Simons scored a career-high 45 points and blocked a potential 3-pointer with 4.6 seconds left to lead Portland past Utah.

The Jazz led 111-110 after Kelly Olynyk’s twisting jumper and then had a chance to tie it at 114, but Simons swiped the ball from Jordan Clarkson as he rose for a 3-point attempt from the right angle.

Portland’s Jerami Grant scored 13 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter as the Jazz swarmed Simons. Jusuf Nurkic had 15 points and 14 rebounds and Trendon Watford finished with a career-high 14 rebounds, too.

Clarkson had 24 points, and Lauri Markkanen added 21 for the Jazz, but committed two turnovers in the final 35.7 seconds. Collin Sexton scored 19 points and Jarred Vanderbilt had a season-high 16 for Utah.

MAVERICKS 121, KNICKS 100

NEW YORK (AP) — Luka Doncic had a game-high 30 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. chipped in 28 points against his former team to lead Dallas over New York.

Spencer Dinwiddie scored 17 points for Dallas, which outscored New York 69-41 in the second half for just its second win seven games.

Forward Julius Randle led the Knicks with 24 points, and Immanuel Quickly chipped in 23. Jalen Brunson had 13 points playing against Dallas for the first time since he signed with the Knicks on July 12.

Dallas outscored New York 41-15 in the third quarter, turning a tight game into a rout. Hardaway had 17 points in the third quarter, including five 3-pointers, and Doncic scored 19 points on 8 of 10 shooting in the third.

BUCKS 105, HORNETS 96

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Bobby Portis scored 20 points and Milwaukee eased past Charlotte, despite missing star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo, a two-time MVP, sat out with left knee soreness, one night after scoring 40 points in a home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Jordan Nwora added 17 points and Brook Lopez and Jevon Carter each scored 14 for the Bucks.

Terry Rozier led the Hornets with 26 points. Jalen McDaniels scored 21 and Kelly Oubre Jr. 20 for Charlotte, which had its three-game home winning streak halted. Mason Plumlee finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

RAPTORS 121, MAGIC 108

TORONTO (AP) — O.G. Anunoby matched his season high with 32 points, Pascal Siakam had 26 points and 10 rebounds and Toronto handed short-handed Orlando its eighth consecutive loss.

Scottie Barnes scored 17 points and had a season-high 14 rebounds, and Fred VanVleet had 13 points as the Raptors won their third straight home game, improving to 9-2 north of the border.

Bol Bol scored 18 points for Orlando, which has the worst record in the NBA at 5-19. The Magic are 1-11 on the road.

WARRIORS 120, ROCKETS 101

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Andrew Wiggins scored a season-best 36 points and matched his career high with eight 3-pointers, leading Golden State past Houston in the second game of back-to-backs for both teams.

Stephen Curry scored 30 points with eight 3s of his own to go with 10 assists. Jordan Poole started in place of a resting Klay Thompson and added 21 points and five assists.

Wiggins knocked down consecutive 3s midway through the third quarter and shot 14 of 19 overall as the Warriors won their 10th straight at home.

Kevin Porter Jr. scored 20 points and Tari Eason contributed 13 off the bench for Houston. Jalen Green added 13 points but missed all five of his tries from long range.

THUNDER 135, TIMBERWOLVES 128

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 33 points in his return to action and Oklahoma City took advantage of Rudy Gobert’s early ejection to post a chippy win over Minnesota.

The teams were called for a combined eight technical fouls.

Gilgeous-Alexander, the NBA’s third-leading scorer with a 31-point average, sat out one game earlier this week with a bruised hip. But he had no trouble getting physical against Minnesota, making 10 of 17 shots and all 12 of his free throws.

Josh Giddey had 21 points and 12 assists for his eighth double-double of the season. Lu Dort scored 18 points as seven Thunder players reached double digits.

D’Angelo Russell led the Timberwolves with 27 points. Anthony Edwards added 26 points and Jaylen Nowell added 21 points.
