Bengaluru MLA NA Harris's son Mohammed Nalapad has surrendered to the police after an FIR was filed against him for assaulting a man at a restro-bar on Saturday night.
Mohammad Nalapad, also the general secretary of Bangalore District Youth Congress was fired from the party on Sunday after news about him beating a man broke out.
Nalapad along with his 10 friends got into an argument with a man about his way of sitting. Vidwath had a broken leg due to which he was sitting in a certain manner that irked Nalapad.
Vidwath was brutally beaten up at the restaurant by Nalapad and his friends. The group also followed the victim to the hospital and beat him up more.
The Opposition erupted soon after the incident was reported and demanded strict action against Nalapad.
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah also tweeted about the incident.
