Packers GM Brian Gutekunst Comments on Jimmy Graham Situation But Everything Remains UnclearBy 12Up

Will veteran tight end Jimmy Graham be back at Lambeau Field next year catching balls from Aaron Rodgers? That's what Packers fans everywhere want to know.

While rumors are swirling No. 80 my have played his last down for the NFC North powerhouse, general manager Brian Gutekunst's latest comments show there's still a door open for the TE to return. But will he?

As you can see, Gutekunst didn't really provide much context on what Graham's future holds. Does Graham want to play for the Packers, or just want to continue his NFL days? It's really leaving everything quite fuzzy, especially when you consider the Packers can save $8 million by cutting him.

Graham is 33 years old and will turn 34 next November. He just wrapped up his 10th campaign in the league, posting 38 receptions for 447 yards and three touchdowns. Yes, his prime days are over, but he proved he's still a valuable asset by hauling in some big catches in the postseason, including one against Seattle to help seal the win in the Divisional Round.

Hopefully soon, Graham comes out and announces he either wants to retire or come back for year No. 11. If he does, we'll then have to wait and see if he's with the Pack for what potentially could be his last year on the gridiron.
