'Blindspot' Season 5 Episode 4: Tasha is pregnant with Reade's child, fans say 'that's one badass kid'By Meaww

Golly, 'Blindspot', doesn't spare you a minute of peace, does it? In the latest episode, the team struggles to piece together Madeline Burke's (Mary Elizabeth) sinister plan. For that, they need Tasha to remember a case from ten years ago. It's difficult and painful for Tasha Zapata (Audrey Esparza) because that's the first day she met Edgar Reade (Rob Brown). She recalls her moments with him, their first fight and flirty banter and how she saved his life at the end of the episode. Nevertheless, after much gentle persuasion from the team, they realize that Madeline, with the help of terrorist friends, has procured poisonous chemicals that she intends to drop in ten cities.

It's time for battle, but they need to be careful. The team is already under emotional duress, Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) has learned that his daughter Bethany is in hospital. Tasha is still trying to move past the trauma of Reade's death...and she is pregnant. This, the fans saw coming in the previous episode and it wasn't really a shocker for them. The fans are excited for her and hope that this piece of news brings some joy to Tasha.

"OMG!! TASHA IS PREGNANT WITH READE'S!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!! #Blindspot," a fan wrote.

They're also upset that Reade would never get to see his child. "#Blindspot OMG!!! Tasha's pregnant, man this is bitter sweet, I am happy for Tasha but at the same time I am unhappy that Reade won't get to see his kid and be a father," another tweeted.

"Tasha pregnant with Reade’s kid? That’s going to be one badass kid. #Blindspot," another wrote. "Having Tasha be pregnant just makes me wish they could have just kept Reade around. These flashbacks got me thinking too much of Terra from Person of Interest," a fan tweeted. Others noted that Tasha was the last person they believed would get pregnant. "Of all the people, tasha was the only one I would never expect to get pregnant," a fan wrote.

The episode ended on a cliffhanger, as Jane Doe (Jaime Alexander) has been shot, and Weller has been taken away. Now what?
