Harry set for first public engagement since royal crisis as Meghan visits another Canada charity

The Duke of Sussex will today conduct his first public engagement since announcing that he and his wife Meghan will be stepping back as senior royals.

Harry will later host the Rugby League World Cup 2021 draw at Buckingham Palace, where he will meet with representatives from all 21 nations taking part.

It comes as the duchess was spotted on a visit to a second women’s charity in Canada since leaving the UK amid discussions over the couple’s future within the royal family.

Democratic House leaders have marched the formal articles of impeachment against Donald Trump to the Senate.

The files detailing the charges were taken through the Capitol last night, setting the stage for only the third trial to remove a president in US history.

"Today we will make history," House speaker Nancy Pelosi said as she signed the documents, using multiple pens to hand out and mark the moment.

Mr Trump complained anew it was all a "hoax," even as fresh details emerged about his efforts in Ukraine.

The House impeached Mr Trump a month ago, alleging he abused his power by pressuring Ukraine to investigate a political rival among other allegations.

Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong has denied reports she is to receive £31 million in a divorce settlement reached this week.

ITV presenter McPartlin, 44, offered up more than half of his estimated £50 million fortune to settle the legal battle, according to the Sun.

But taking to Twitter, make-up artist Armstrong, 43, has since denied the reports and said: “Nope a load of nonsense AGAIN...."
