India, Sept. 23 -- The renowned Kathak dancer of the city V Anuradha Singh will perform solo at an event to be held at Leh on Saturday. She was invited to perform at the International Performing Arts Festival at Leh.

She will be performing with the world renowned dancer performers. It is to be noted that Singh has performed at various national and international dance festivals as well and has received much appreciation across the globe.

Anuradha about her performance says, "I have performed across the globe, but each time I get an opportunity to perform again, I feel the same excitement as it is the first time. I am really contented to be a part of this programme. Moreover, I am excited to stage a performance before the art lovers of Leh-Ladakh."

Anuradha is noted Kathak dancer from Bhopal. She is better known for her innovation and improvisation in traditional Kathak technique.

Experimenting with classical sufi Kathak, she has evolved a refined, sophisticated style in pure classical

form, based on fast speeds, swift turns, mind thrilling footwork, delicacy of movements and impressive expressions.

Rhythmic understanding, ability to extemporise with speedy rhythms and preserving pure Kathak classical style are some of her qualities. With enchanting stage presence she has earned acclamation for intense and sensitive dance presentations.

She has performed solo Kathak internationally in addition to more than 50 prestigious Government organised festivals in India and has also given across the world.
