Sonam Kapoor’s ‘date night’ photos get a sweet reaction from dad Anil Kapoor: ‘Beautiful’

As Sonam Kapoor enjoyed a ‘date night’ with her husband Anand Ahuja in London, she took to Instagram to share pictures of her look. She kept it simple, wearing a cream-coloured long-sleeved flowy outfit. Her photos got a lot of love from her parents, Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor.

“You do not just wake up and become the butterfly… Growth is a process. - Rupi Kaur. All smiles on a date night,” Sonam Kapoor captioned her Instagram post. While Anil Kapoor called her ‘beautiful’, Sunita Kapoor dropped heart emojis. Her aunt, Maheep Kapoor, also commented with heart and heart-eyes emojis.

Fans also showered Sonam with compliments. “@sonamkapoor love ur smiling face,” one wrote. “Lookin Absolutely Gorgeous Sonam,” another said. “I swear she is the cutest and mine favourite,” a third commented.

Sonam and Anand celebrated their third wedding anniversary last month. He wished her with a late post, sharing throwback pictures of them together and writing, “always #everydayphenomenal... since I didn’t get to post this on our anniversary, sharing it now. :)”

Anand also dedicated multiple birthday posts to Sonam as she turned 36 on June 9. “You can LITERALLY feel the thoughts, pains, and discomforts of others. You are genuinely and effortlessly selfless - empathy personified - and it is a daily occurrence … Happy birthday @sonamkapoor ; you are why #everydayphenomenal,” he wrote, sharing a picture of them hugging. In another post, he revealed his phone wallpaper -- a black-and-white picture of them at an event.

Sonam was last seen in a cameo in Vikramaditya Motwane’s AK vs AK, as a fictionalised version of herself. She will be seen next in a crime thriller titled Blind, directed by Shome Makhija. The film, which was shot in a 39-day start-to-finish schedule in Glasgow amid the Covid-19 pandemic, also stars Vinay Pathak, Purab Kohli and Lillete Dubey.
