NPP seeks release of salary of SPOsBy HTS

Jammu, Feb 19: National Panther Party (NPP) has sought immediate release of pending salary of SPOs.
According to press release, a meeting of NPP was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Bhim Singh, who took exception regarding the salary to the SPO's J&K.
"It is strange to say that presently SPO's are getting salary @ Rs. 6000/- which was enhanced from Rs. 3000/- to 6000/- by the Central Government and later on the Ministry of Home affairs has enhancement the same from Rs. 6000/- to Rs. 12,000/- last years and the effete from the enhancement of the salary to be given with effect from January 2018.
But it is strange to say that for the last three months the salary of Rs. 6000/- has not been released in favour of the SPO's and they are suffering very badly along with their families due to non - payment of salary", Singh said.
The State General Secretary of the Panthers Trade Union (PTU), Sewa Singh Bali has appealed to the Home Minister of India for release of the funds at the earliest.
Those who were present in the press conference were S/Shri Parshotam Singh Parhiar, Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Ajay Saini, Naveen, Abdul Rashid Ganaie, Mohd. Yusaf and others.
