The New York Jets went too long without filling out their dumb Jets moves quota and responded in a big way, firing GM Mike Maccagnan after letting him spend money in free agency and conduct their draft. His interim replacement is new head coach Adam Gase, who rode Peyton Manning to two head coaching gigs and has since put up losing records and some of the worst offenses in the league.

One anonymous analyst summarized this whole ordeal by comparing Gase to former Steelers and Browns offensive coordinator Todd Haley in terms of how "paranoid" he figures to be.

Haley, for those of you who don't remember, was booted out of Pittsburgh and Cleveland for getting a little too neurotic and wanting more control than his job would have seemed to require.

If this was Bill Belichick or Andy Reid, than this could be acceptable. Instead, the Jets put a combative head coach with a 23-25 record in the last three years in charge of EVERYTHING. Talk about Same Old Jets.

It starts at the top, and as long as Christopher Johnson is running this team, this is going to continue. Even with Sam Darnold, Le'Veon Bell, and Quinnen Williams, this is a dumpster fire of a team. Crack is whack!
