Producers Council gives Vadivelu ultimatum on Imsai Arasan 24am PulikeceiBy IndiaToday

On April 16, we told you that Vadivelu had sent an explanation to the Producers Council that he wouldn't act in Imsai Arasan 24 am Pulikecei. The project ran into delays and eventually, director-producer Shankar filed a complaint against the actor, accusing him of non-compliance.

According to the latest report, members of the Producers Council met Vadivelu to sort out the issues. However, the meeting did not turn out as expected. Vadivelu is said to have asked the production house to settle a remuneration of Rs 1 crore to resume shooting for Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikecei.

The council has now issued an ultimatum to Vadivelu. They've asked him to work in the film without any condition or he should compensate the loss by paying a sum of Rs 9 crore that has been incurred so far by the production house.

If Vadivelu doesn't oblige to the demands of the Council, then he might be given a red card. An official statement from the Producers Council regarding Imsai Arasan 24 am Pulikecei is yet to be out.

Vadivelu became a solo hero with director Chimbudevan's Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi which went on to become a blockbuster. Last year, producer Shankar announced that he'd make a sequel with Vadivelu in the lead.
