Follow the latest updates live from England’s Rugby World Cup squad announcement where Eddie Jones names his final training squad that will compete for the 31-man squad heading to Japan 2019.

The likes of Owen Farrell, Maro Itoje and Jack Nowell are all expected to be named as the Saracens and Exeter Chiefs players return from their end-of-season holidays for the first time, while names such as Danny Cipriani and Alex Dombrandt will be waiting nervously to learn if they’ve made the cut or not.

With Jones set to name his side, today marks the start of a two-month slog to prepare the England squad for the Rugby World Cup, with the head coach planning on training camps in Bristol, Newcastle, Oxford and Treviso in Italy as well as their Bagshot HQ. On top of the squad announcement, Canterbury will also launch the new England kit for the Rugby World Cup. Follow the live updates below.

The squad will be announced at 12:30pm, with Eddie Jones hosting a press conference at 1:30pm.
