Jammu, Feb 19: A well known Dogri and Hindi writer, translator, Journalist and Cultural activist Yashpaul Nirmal and famous Hindi & Dogri Poet Kewal Kumar Kewal were awarded with the "Sarv Bhasha Samman 2018" by the Sarv Bhasha Trust here at Gandhi Peace Foundation Auditorium New Delhi.
In this function Literatures of different languages and media houses from all over India participated and honored.
A tri-monthly multilingual e-magazine of Sarv Bhasha Trust was also released in this function. President of the Trust Dr Ashok Lav (an eminent literatuer) and Chief editor Sarv Bhasha Trust, Keshav Mohan Pandey explained the policies of Sarv Bhasha Trust. They said that our aim is to unite all the languages on one platform.
Nirmal has been awarded by the various social, cultural and literary organizations time to time for his literary contributions.
Born on 20th June, 1978 in a border Village Ghari Bishna(Tehsil Akhnoor). He has more than thirty Books published in different languages in his credit.
Last year he was awarded with the "Rashtriya Anuvad Sahitya Gourav Samman 2017" by the Nirmala Smriti Sahityak smiti and Rashtriya Anuvad Parishad collectively for his Book Gbari (Hindi translation of Dogri Poetry written by Mohan Singh).
Kewal Kumar Kewal is also awarded by the various awards and Honours by the different Literary and cultural associations. He is working President of Rashtriya Kavi Sangam Jammu Kashmir.
