Kolkata, Mar 22 (UNI) Bengali film superstar and sitting Trinamol Congress (TMC) MP Deb aka Deepak Adhikari today wished former IPS officer Bharati Ghosh after the latter being pitted against him by the BJP from Ghatal constituency in West Medinipur district of West Bengal.
In a tweet message, Tollywood superstar said, "Congratulations to BJP candidate Bharati Ghosh. She was the Superintendent of Police in the district. She also helped in the developmental works undertaken by the state government. We will work together for the developmental works in Ghatal irrespective of our individual win or loss in the elections."
Bharati, the former IPS officer who was once referred by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as her “daughter “was the West Medinipore Superintendent of Police for more than six years.
