No Time to Die: James Bond fans think Billie Eilish is recording new theme songBy The Independent

Rumours of who will sing the theme tune for Daniel Craig’s final Bond film have begun circulating.

With just three months to go until the release of No Time to Die, fans are waiting patiently to see which music artist will be singing the main song.

Teenage singer Billie Eilish’s name has been linked to the job, according to Bond blog MI6-HQ – and she’s now fuelled speculation by posting a series of Bond-related images on her Instrgam story.

There are eight in total, one of which includes Halle Berry’s character in Die Another Day (2002).

Should Eilish, 18, be given the job, she’ll be the youngest recording artist to do so. Recent acts to record the theme song include Sam Smith (Spectre, 2015) and Adele (Skyfall, 2012).

Some fans have investigated the rumours and are have noticed that Eilish and her brother, the songwriter Finneas O’Connell, are just two of the 80 people the film’s director Cary Joji Fukunaga follow on social media.

The first trailer for No Time to Die, which will star Rami Malek as the film’s primary villain, was released in December.

It’ll be released in cinemas on 2 April, 2020.
