The past couple of weeks have not been kind to Mason Rudolph.

It started against the Browns, when the Steelers quarterback got in an altercation that ended with him getting hit in the head with his own helmet by Myles Garett. Instead of getting sympathy, however, Rudolph was fined $50,000 for his involvement in the brawl.

But even with so many outside parties against Rudolph, you'd expect everyone in the Steelers organization to have full confidence in him going forward, right? Well, that looks to not be the case based off Mike Tomlin's comment on Rudolph when asked why Devlin Hodges will start Sunday against the Browns.

The Steelers coach seems to believe that Hodges won't hurt the team like Rudolph has recently. His last few games have been horrific, and he was finally benched last Sunday against the Bengals after completing only 50% of his passes and throwing an interception.

It's unknown whether Rudolph will get his starting spot back this season. Either way, this is definitely a November he'll want to forget about and fast.
