Hyderabad: All of you know actor Salman Khan. But there is another world famous Salman Khan you probably don’t know about.

Salman Amin Khan, also known as Sal Khan is a Bangladeshi-Indian Educator from America. Mr. Khan is the sole founder of world’s number one virtual academy called “Khan Academy.”
Khan Academy is an online academy with 3.5 million subscribers on Youtube with an ever increasing number. He started out as a tutor for his cousin Nadia and uploaded videos on Youtube so that she could learn from them.

But soon his voice took over the world and caused an unexpected revolution in education.

Khan is known as the “Messiah of Maths” and Khanacademy as “the future of education.”

But besides uploading videos on Youtube, Khan used to be a hedge fund analyst at that time. But, just for the sake of providing free education to the world his wife asked him to quit his only job that supported them financially, and work on Khanacademy instead.

Considering the advice of his wife without a second thought Khan quit the job and chose to work on Khanacademy full-time, despite the lack of financial resources.

They lived in a state of poverty for over a year. Today Salman Khan is one of the 100 most influential men in the world. He has 60 million registered students on his website and Bill Gates happens to be one of them.

Till this day he has received 9 million in donation from Bill Gates and 11million from Google.

Bill Gates believes Salman Khan is the teacher to the world.
