It's almost impossible to believe given his ball skills and overall talent, but Chicago Bears safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix had not scored a defensive touchdown at any of the three levels of his football career...prior to Monday night. The former Pro Bowler gave his team a 7-0 lead over the Redskins when he took a Case Keenum interception 37 yards to the house. But what if we told you that his wasn't his most important contribution of the night? After the Bears' convincing victory, Clinton-Dix found a fan sporting his old Packers jersey, and the DB proceeded to share an unforgettable moment with the youngster.
Not only did the Alabama product take a few photos, but he also gifted the fan one of his game-worn wristbands.
Heartwarming clips like this will just never get old. They serve as a perfect reminder that all professional athletes, even those like Clinton-Dix who aren't considered to be superstars, are looked up to as heroes and icons to some fans.
What a moment.
