Liverpool vs Man United prediction: Tickets, TV channel, live stream, H2H, team news - Premier League previewBy Evening Standard

Liverpool welcome Manchester United to Anfield this afternoon as Jurgen Klopp’s side look to take another commanding step towards the Premier League title.

United are the only side to take points off the League leaders this term, with Adam Lallana rescuing a point at Old Trafford back in October.

Liverpool have won every game since then and with a 13-point lead over second-place Manchester City - and two games in hand - their 30-year wait for the title is set to end.

As for United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows a win will send the Red Devils within two points of the top four after Chelsea's shock loss at Newcastle - and with Tottenham and Arsenal drawing, United look best-placed to push for Champions League football.

Date: Sunday 19 January, 2020

Venue: Anfield, Liverpool

Kick-off time: 4:30pm GMT

Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Manchester United

United’s consistently inconsistent form doesn’t bode well for a trip to Merseyside.

Liverpool haven’t lost on their own turf since April 2017 and a United side hit by injury stand little chance of changing that.

Tickets

Tickets for Sunday’s clash at Anfield are sold out.
