Mumbai, Jan 24 (UNI) The BSE sensex on Friday rallied by 137 points at 41,524.28 as Materials, FMCG, Finance, Industrials, Bankex and Auto stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 45.30 points to 12,225.65.
The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 41,587.18 and 41,275.60 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded day intra day high and low at 12,246.35 and 12,149.65 points respectively.
The sectoral indices like as Materials, FMCG, Finance, Industrials, Bankex and Auto stocks.
The gainers were HeroMoto Corp by 1.31 pc to Rs 2462.20, NTPC by 1.28 per cent to Rs 115.05, HCL Tech by 1.25 per cent to Rs 605.80 and ICICI Bank by 1.19 per cent to Rs 534.
The losers were Powergrid by 2.11 per cent to Rs 197, TCS by 0.84 per cent to Rs 2175, Bharti Airtel by 0.76 per cent to Rs 519.60 and Infosys by 0.64 per cent to Rs 779.50.
