Matteo Guidicelli finishes month-long scout ranger orientation course with flying colors, now second lieutenantBy Manila Bulletin

The 29-year-old actor Matteo Guidicelli has graduated from his scout ranger course in Camp Tecson, San Miguel Bulacan, even getting a “Military Commendation” medal for all the hard work he put in.

Matteo is now addressed as Second Lieutenant Matteo Guidicelli, Reserved Army.

The news was shared by his talent network, Viva Artist Agency, that posted a short clipof the event on their official YouTube account.

The ceremony was attended by his family and loved ones, including Sarah Geronimo.

A series of videos uploaded by ABS-CBN News reporter MJ Felipe on Twitter shows that Matteo’s medal is for his participation in the successful conduct of brigada eskwela in three different schools in San Miguel, Bulacan.
The actor led the simultaneous cleanup drives of the school premises, from repainting of school buildings and the distribution of school supplies.

Matteo was also awarded for volunteering to become one of the speakers during the Youth School summit, in order for him to inspire young ones to value the sacrifices and contributions of Filipino soldiers and his firm advocate volunteerism in serving the counter as an agent of peace and development.

Matteo is an outstanding student among 97 students in the class, obtaining the highest grade of 95.20%.
