Golmaal Again, the fourth film in the hit comedy franchise, earned Rs 28 crore on Saturday, pushing its domestic total to Rs 58 crore in two days. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan production Secret Superstar showed legs with Rs 8 crore on Saturday for a total of Rs 22.75 crore in three days of release.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the numbers on Sunday.

Golmaal Again, starring Ajay Devgn, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Parineeti Chopra, made Rs 30 crore on Friday, while Secret Superstar jumped by almost 50% from Thursday to Friday. The Zaira Wasim-starrer opened to Rs 4.8 crore on day 1.

Golmaal made another Rs 15 crore in overseas markets taking its worldwide total to Rs 73 crore. Meanwhile, Tamil film Mersal has been collecting massive figures since its October 18 release. The Film opened to Rs 51 crore on day 1, and according to Adarsh, “It won’t be erroneous to state that Tamil film Mersal is collecting more than the two Hindi releases in some key international markets.”
