Patna, Jan 23 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) president Nitish Kumar today said he was surprised over letter of national general secretary of the party Pawan Verma, seeking ideological clarifications of JD(U) on CAA, NRC and NPR, and asked Mr Verma to go anywhere if he wished so as stand of the party on these issues was crystal clear and fumed, " this is not the proper way for any one to behave in the party."
Mr Kumar, reacting over a letter written to him by Mr Verma seeking ideological clarifications of the party on certain issues including CAA, NRC and NPR, told media persons here that JD(U) had been working for protecting the interest of common man since long and its stand on some issues was very clear and there was no space of any confusion for any one over it. JD(U) was a party committed to the cause of people and it should not be viewed by statement of any leader, he suggested.
The Chief Minister said that Mr Verma was a learned person and he had every respect for him notwithstanding the fact that the latter was not so respectful to him. If Mr Verma had any confusion or he was interested to seek certain clarifications from him on some issues, he should have talked to him for the purpose, he said adding that Mr Verma could have also raised such issues in meeting of the party but the way he had behaved by writing a letter and making it public was surprising.
