Referring to the rising number of cases of suicide attempts by farmers, AAP leader Sanjay Singh, who was in Mumbai along with AAP's national spokesperson Ashutosh, said that policies of Fadnavis government are forcing farmers to commit suicide.

Sanjay Singh said, "Fadnavis government has completely failed on all fronts. They couldn't even support the farmers, who ultimately had to call for a strike."

Singh further said, "Of all the promises made to farmers, how many have been fulfilled? The prime minister, who before 2014 general elections promised to create lakhs of jobs every year has in reality failed to do so."

Sanjay Singh also targeted BJP national president Amit Shah over mysterious death of Judge Loya, who was hearing the Sohrabuddin case in Mumbai's CBI court.

Referring to Justice Loya, Singh said," There is a big question over his death. If judges are not safe how can people be safe?"

The AAP leader also slammed Modi government over the Rafael deal and asked how the cost of these planes was escalated. "The UPA government had struck the deal in Rs 50,000 crore, then why is Modi government paying Rs 59000 crore?" he asked.

Singh also slammed Modi government for appointing Reliance Defence Company instead of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for making spare parts of the Rafael plane.

Singh alleged that only four people in the country enjoy money and political power. "Adani and Ambani enjoy all money power and Modi and Amit Shah enjoy political power.

Despite the big business houses having taken loans worth many crore of rupees, they get away without any strict action being taken against them. But farmers continue to feel helpless.

AAP, which has contested only once in Maharashtra, is now planning to strengthen its volunteer base in state, making issues faced by the youth its priority.
