Well, except if you support a specific team from Texas.
Say hello to Dillon T. Pickle, the mascot for the Portland Pickles, a collegiate summer baseball team. To get as many voters behind him as possible, Pickle suggested that he will personally kick the Houston Astros out of Major League Baseball for the 2021 season.
Commissioner Rob Manfred should take notes from Pickle.
Of course, you know why the Astros have received so much venom and vitriol from casual and avid baseball fans alike. Houston was proven guilty of using video cameras to steal signs from the opposition throughout the 2017 season, the year in which the franchise won its first-ever World Series title. Even after being proven guilty, Manfred gave the Astros a slap on the wrist, and as a result, they've behaved rather unsympathetically towards the fans and their colleagues.
Well, that's where Pickle steps in. He will do something that Manfred should've done months ago: ban the Astros for a full season. That's a stance America can truly get behind.
