Pune, June 18 (UNI) Conditions are becoming favourable for further advancement of southwest monsoon into some more parts of central Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, Karnataka as well as the remaining parts of North East, Tamil Nadu, and some parts of south Konkan and Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim,and Odisha.
Heavy to very heavy rainfalls very likely to lash at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim,Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, west Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gujarat State, and Arunachal Pradesh.

Day temperatures were above normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam,Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, east Uttar Pradesh,Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and in remaining parts of Odisha, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana,and coastal parts of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Odisha,west Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada,coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema,Karnataka and in remaining parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand,and Vidarbha.
Day temperatures were markedly above normal in some parts of Telangana.

Day temperatures were below normal in some parts of west Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan,Gujarat Region and in remaining parts of Assam,Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan,and east Madhya Pradesh.
Day temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of west Rajasthan and were markedly below normal in some parts of Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi,and in remaining parts of west Madhya Pradesh.
Day temperatures were normal over rest of the country.
The highest maximum temperature recorded over the plains was 43.9 degrees celsius in Fatehgarh of east Uttar Pradesh.
Heat waves swept across isolated places in Bihar, Jharkhand,Vidarbha,and Gangetic West Bengal.

During next 24 hours,heat waves very likely to sweep across isolated places in Vidarbha,Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Telangana,Tamil Nadu,Puducherry,and Karaikal.
Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkm, Haryana, Punjab,
Himachal Pradesh, Konkan and Goa and Andaman and Nicobar Islands,Assam,Meghalaya, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir,
Chhattisgarh, Saurashtra and Kutch, coastal Karnataka,Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar,
west Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat Region, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana,Kerala,Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh,Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, madhya Maharashtra,Marathwada, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu,and south interior Karnataka.
Mainly dry weather prevailed in north interior Karnataka.
