SAD asks Rahul to expel Sidhu for giving Pak clean chit for Pulwama attackBy uniindia
Chandigarh, Feb 16 (UNI) The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Saturday asked Congress president Rahul Gandhi to expel Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu from the party for speaking the language of anti-nationals by maintaining Pakistan could not be held responsible for the Pulwama terrorist attack and weakening India’s case for action against Pakistan sponsored terror in the international community.
Addressing mediapersons here, former minister Bikram Singh Majithia said “It seems Sony TV and the Kapil Sharma show organisers are more patriotic than the Congress party which is sitting mutely while it’s senior minister bats for Pakistan and its terror machine.
I want to ask Rahul Gandhi if he will sit quietly and bear the insult meted out to the country and its soldiers by Navjot Sidhu.
Every patriotic Indian is asking if Rahul will respect their wishes and rise above politics.
Sidhu should be sacked promptly or Indians will surmise that his statement was made at the directions of Rahul Gandhi”.

The Akali leader said chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh was also on test.
“Punjabis are eager to know whether the words he uttered in the assembly on Friday about the stooges of Pak army chief are true.
If so, the CM should not wait for Rahul Gandhi’s assent to remove the rotten egg (Navjot Sidhu) from his cabinet.
Capt Amarinder must now prove that he is a soldier first or Punjabis will come to know who is the Punjab da Captain”.
Giving further details, Mr Majithia said Navjot Sidhu had not only tried to justify the dastardly Pakistan attack but was also speaking in the same voice as that of Pak Information minister Fawad Chaudhary and separatists Syed Geelani and Yasin Malik.
“Navjot Sidhu apparently does not know even now that Pakistan is the fountainhead of terrorism.
Even the United States has condemned the Pulwama attack and said on record that it was conducted by Pak based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad.
Groups like the Jaish were also responsible for the Pathankot, Deenanagar and Uri attacks”.

Asking Sidhu to clarify why he had given a clean chit to Pakistan, Mr Majithia said Sidhu should tell if he was privy to any special information.
“Sidhu should also tell why he was defending and justifying terrorist acts conducted by the Jaish-e-Mohammad which had helped his friend Imran Khan’s PTI to form the government in Pakistan.
Jaish has already owned responsibility for the heinous attack which killed 40 soldiers, including four from Punjab.
How many more such killings does Navjot Sidhu want before he condemns the Pak establishment”, Mr Majithia added.

Stating that Indians would not tolerate any traitorous behavior, Mr Majithia urged both Rahul Gandhi and Capt Amarinder Singh to take prompt action to safeguard the nationalist credentials of the Congress party.
