Peace message by Nav Yuvak SanghBy HTS

India, Sept. 23 -- Not only will the majority community this year but the essence of 'Navratri' be spread among the other community members as well. Touching upon one of the most sensitive subject--'intolerance', the puja pandal of Bharatiya Nav Yuvak Sangh aka Bakri Bazaar is being crafted on the concept depicting 'unity in diversity'. The idea dedicated to the subject, 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam', a Sanskrit phrase found in Hindu texts, which means 'the world is one family' will charm the devotees here.

Sidelining all primeval designs, a huge replica of people of different communities, standing together holding a globe spreading a message on peace and prosperity is not merely a symbolic representation but an attempt to sensitise public.

In a bid to cut down the affect of disruptive incidents that often creates rift among communities, the members of the puja samiti have endeavored to reach out to maximum people through this creative medium of expression besides following the religious rituals this festive season.

Not just the exterior look but interior design as well has been picked up harmonizing the concept. According to the members of the puja samiti, small sculpts of Temple, Mosque, Church and Gurudwara has been decked up inside the puja pandal to give the concept a generous look.

The theme designed on the secular model at a whopping cost of Rs 35 lakh also has a creative blend depicting huge portrayal of Lord Shiva, reservoirs, mountains, greenery to flatter leisure buffs.

The puja pandal spread over an acre of land is being decorated by 60 creative artists. The artists from Midnapore, West Bengal are working day and night to bring the quintessence to the theme.

"After brainstorming on different designs, we finalized this blueprint looking at the present situation. With the motto to spread the message of 'unity' especially in the secular country like India that has diverse community people residing here, this is the best ever theme presented by far by our puja samiti," said, president, Bhartiya Nav Yuvak Sangh, Ashok Choudhary.
