Cam Reddish was cool, but you won't see a better buzzer beater today than that of Texas A&M guard TJ Starks. Despite the 6-7 Aggies going on the road to face Avery Johnson's upstart 10-4 Alabama Crimson Tide, Starks called game by going the full length of the court and driving the dagger right into Bama's heart with an insane running three.
Starks was the unlikeliest of heroes given his lackluster play up to that point. The 6-2 sophomore from Dallas, who usually averages 14.5 points per game, had just nine points on 3-16 shooting up until that magical three.
It's not how you start, it's how you finish.
We've got a long way to go in the college basketball season, but that looks like an early contender for the best buzzer beater of the year.
