MANILA, Philippines — The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) contagion in the country continues to increase on a daily basis.The Department of Health (DOH) on Wednesday afternoon reported 227 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total infection in the country to 2,311.

Meanwhile, there are now 96 COVID-19 related deaths while 50 managed to recover.INQUIRER.net has identified the cities and provinces in the Philippines that have confirmed cases of COVID-19 based on the patient’s home address as shown by the case tracker of the DOH.
