True blue

blue remains one of the most popular colour choices when it comes to fashion and it's not hard to see why. We run through some of the stars rocking a true blue look.

Sophia Bush went for a nautical approach to the trend in her navy and white dress as she headed out for coffee in Los Angeles recently. The former One Tree Hill star showed off her svelte frame in the outfit, which featured an asymmetrical neckline, and teamed it with strappy court shoes. Talk about nautical but nice!

Denim was the name of the game for Scandal star Kerry Washington as she attended a private gifting suite event recently. The 40-year-old actress looked stunning in the sleeveless Tory Burch dress, which featured a belt to highlight her slim waist. Kerry left her hair loose and natural for the occasion, with the blue hue perfectly highlighting her skintone. Olivia Pope would approve!

Nicole Scherzinger has certainly worn her fair share of revealing ensembles during her time in The Pussycat Dolls. So, when it came to choosing a look for one of the first The X Factor audition days, the singer opted for a figure-hugging Emilio de la Morena number in bright turquoise. The ruffled neckline is a bit too junior for our liking, but Nicole still pulled it off. Miaow!

Former Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh went for a ladylike look in a powder blue dress as she presented at the British Style Collective. The outfit featured sheer panels of fabric, with the plunging, draped neckline effortlessly flattering on the mother-of-two. Tan sandals completed the look, while her ombre hair was left loose and wavy. This outfit is Something Kinda Ooooh, Kimberley!

She used to be a dancer and Jenna Dewan Tatum still has a figure to die for. The mother-of-one opted for a dark blue David Koma dress as she attended the NBC Upfront event, with the sleeveless ensemble highlighting her petite frame in all the right places. A swipe of blue eyeliner perfectly complemented the outfit, while Jenna left the rest of her look simple to ensure all attention was on her dress. Stunning!

Amy Schumer isn't usually one to opt for skin-baring designs but went for a jaw-dropping dress as she attended the Snatched premiere. The actress showcased her cleavage in an Antonio Berardi number, and ticked several trend boxes with the navy and black colours and cold shoulder design. You certainly Snatched our attention in this look, Amy!

Zoe Saldana went for a fashion-forward look as she posed for photographs at the 5th Annual Moms +SocialGood Event. Her black Roksanda dress was given an interesting twist thanks to bright blue blouson sleeves and a maroon necktie over a keyhole design on the cleavage. Very little make-up and naturally tousled tresses completed the look - what a natural beauty!

If you're unsure about going all out with blue, why not try introducing it into your look with just one piece? Take some tips from Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field, who looked chic and stylish in a blue button up skirt with a cream lace top as she was pictured outside of ITV studios in London recently. Bare legs and tan sandals stopped the look from looking too covered up. Gorgeous!

Zendaya has made a name for herself as a fashion-forward fashionista in recent months and it's not hard to see why. The young actress opted for a Molly Goddard look from the fall 2017 collection, featuring a yellow and black striped cardigan worn over a blue tulle tutu-style skirt, to attend the London photocall for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Tutu pretty, Zendaya!

Or, take a leaf out of Cara Delevingne's book and go all out with this colour trend by wearing a blue velvet trouser suit. The model-turned-actress teamed the two-piece ensemble with a black strappy bra beneath and kept it edgy with black ankle boots, sunglasses, and her peroxide blonde crop as she arrived for an interview on a U.S. TV chat show. Nailed it, Cara!
