Need your guidance on whether Govt hospitals be reserved for residents of Delhi: KejriwalBy uniindia
New Delhi, Jun 1 (UNI) Announcing the further relaxations in the Unlock 1.0 phase announced by the Centre, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday invited suggestions on whether the borders be opened but medical treatment in the hospitals provided only to the residents.
Addressing a digital press conference, the CM said,"Today I am here to ask for your guidance on a very important question: Should the borders of Delhi be opened? There is an important aspect of this question.
COVID+ve cases are rising in Delhi, which is a matter of worry but there is no need to panic.
I say this because the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has invested a lot in developing the healthcare infrastructure of Delhi in the last five years.
We have opened new hospitals and new ICUs, installed new beds, opened many Mohalla Clinics, offered free treatment for the people.”
“There has been holistic development of the health infrastructure in Delhi.
Due to this holistic development, your Chief Minister can assure you that when the world is fighting for strengthening their healthcare systems against the Corona pandemic, the Delhi government is ready to provide adequate health facilities and a bed if you are ever infected by Corona,” he said.
