Nazareth School of National University lived up to its billing and smothered host Indonesia, 100-51, on Tuesday to retain the crown in the 2019 ASEAN School Games at the GOR Sahabat in Semarang, Indonesia.

Inspired by their 87-47 thumping of the same squad in the preliminaries over the weekend, the Nationals wasted no time in disposing of the Indons to win the gold medal.

Gerry Abadiano also shone for the PH team with 11 points spiked by three triples, while guard Ernest Felicilda made his presence felt and finished with 13 points, three rebounds and seven assists.

The Nationals overpowered their rivals throughout, winning by an average margin of 48 points. Their other victory came at the expense of Malaysia, 118-62.
