IMPHAL, June 16 -- Meanwhile the state is reeling with price rise of essential commodities; the guardian of the state, government is neglecting the problem and is busy among themselves for more power.

President of Committee of Civil Societies Kangleipak (CCSK), Jitendra Ningomba made the statement while speaking to media persons at its office today.

While condemning such nature of politicians, he warned that there is a possibility of another June 18 incident if the government continue its instability. "People may be compelled to teach government a lesson if it fails to clarify the overdraft issue to the people", he added.

Jitendra also noted that the long unsolved issue of Inner Line Permit System (ILPS) should also be solved at the earliest, he added.

Advisor of CCSK, Joy Chingakham also put forward that people now have apprehension whether the government will impose President's Rule in the state, to do whatever it wants. While the state government remains unstable, the Centre may solve the demands of NSCN-IM, he added.
