Browns DT Sheldon Richardson Throws Shade at Mason Rudolph After Week 12 BenchingBy 12Up

A lot can happen in a week. In Week 11, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph was victimized by his own helmet at the hands of Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett. On Sunday, Rudolph was benched midway through the team's game against the winless Cincinnati Bengals in favor of Devlin Hodges.

Week 13 will feature the rematch between the Browns and Steelers, but Rudolph's status is a huge question mark. Browns defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson couldn't help but take a shot at his counterpart, saying he "hopes he plays" next week.

"Did you see him last game?" Richardson asked. And yes, those were indeed shots fired.

In the aforementioned first meeting between the Browns and Steelers, Rudolph threw for 221 yards, one touchdown, and a staggering four interceptions.

When facing the lowly Bengals on Sunday afternoon, Rudolph completed 8-of-16 passes for just 85 yards and an interception. Head coach Mike Tomlin pulled the second-year signal caller out of the game in favor of Hodges, who made an immediate impact with a 79-yard touchdown pass, resulting in the team's 16-10 win.

With the Browns on a three-game winning streak after their win against the Miami Dolphins, Richardson definitely believes Rudolph being on the field gives them the best chance to make it four in a row.
