The Tennessee football team hasn't exactly had a great season so far. They're 2-4, and have had some tough losses to Georgia State, BYU and Florida. Unfortunately for the Volunteers, it isn't going to get any easier moving forward. They have to face undefeated Alabama in Tuscaloosa this Saturday in what is almost guaranteed to be a blowout. And it looks as if Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt knows this based off this ridiculous strategy he proposed for facing the Crimson Tide.

Inspired by a local high school team, Pruitt says that his team won't punt at all, but instead just onside kick every time in order to prevent Alabama from getting the ball.

Of course, the head coach is only joking. But considering how much the odds are stacked against them, maybe it wouldn't be the worst idea to at least try this for a quarter.

Regardless of what Pruitt decides to do with his team, the Tennessee players and fans should accept the fact that this game will probably get real ugly fast.
