ShowBT CEO Robin Geong, also the manager of five-member group SB19, has revealed the big projects lined up for the boys in the next 12 months.

There is the ongoing 10- city tour that includes stops in Cagayan de Oro, Bicol, Iloilo, Cebu, Baguio, Zamboanga, Davao, Pampanga and Manila.

Later in the year, another tour will be held that aims to bring Sejun, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin closer to their fans.

“Nationwide tour again at itong plano ito, magiging free po ulit ‘yung tour namin. Kailangan po talagang maraming sponsorship for this second nationwide tour so please help us,” Robin said.

SB19 will also release at last their first full album under Sony Music. Titled “Get In The Zone,” it will have the tracks “Tilaluha,” “Go Up,” “Alab,” “Hanggang Sa Huli,” “Love Goes,” and “Huwag Mong Ikunot Ang Iyong Noo.”

The target release month is March or April. Robin said the songs relate to four human emotions, namely happiness, sadness, anger, and joy.

Also in plans for SB19 are collaborations with visiting K-Pop idol groups.

“I can say it confidently wala pong mas magaling pa sa SB19 sa mga K-Pop idol group. And wala pa pong K-Pop idol group na mas magaling pa sa SB19 at naging viral na mabilis at tsaka pumasok po sa Billboard.

“And after the collaboration, I will make the K-Pop group to want for them to collaborate with SB19.”

Ultimately, it was hinted that SB19 might hold an “encore” free concert in one of the big concert venues in the Philippines.

Ain’t just a number

Formed in 2018, SB19 trained under ShowBT, a Korean entertainment company that branched out to the Philippines.

These boys are well-rounded performers who can sing and dance a wide variety of genres, write their own music and, create their own choreography. Their aim is to introduce a new “music culture” in the Philippines, as well as be a boy group that can compete with international boy bands.

Well, in just a short span of time, the boys made history. Early this week, they became the first Filipino act to debut on Billboard’s Social 50 list. They first landed on the 28th spot, then peaked at 19th place, just a slot behind Mariah Carey.

The Social 50 is a weekly ranking of the most active artists on the world’s leading social network sites. SB19 also outranked Harry Styles, Cardi B., Lizzo, and K-pop girl groups TWICE and BlackPink.
Last Dec. 16, SB19 sold out their Cuneta Astrodome concert in just three minutes. The rising P-Pop boy group just won their first-ever award as Favorite Group of the Year in LionhearTV RAWR Awards.

SB19 rose to fame after the synchronized video dance practice of their single “Go Up” went viral. They’ve just released the music video for their latest song, “Alab.”
