CM made Pb downgrade in all spheres with WB & NITI Ayog rankings testimony to it :BadalBy uniindia
Jalalabad, Oct 18 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal Friday said Punjab continued to deteriorate under the stewardship of Capt Amarinder Singh and that after falling behind in the World Bank ratings in ease of doing business, it had been declared a laggard in the Niti Aayog Innovation Index 2019 also.

Addressing largely attended public gatherings in several villages in the constituency in favour of SAD candidate Dr Raj Singh Dibbipuria, the SAD President said the chief minister was directly responsible for this state of affairs.
“There is no governance in the State.
Lawlessness has increased.
So has corruption and red tapism.
This is why Punjab slipped from among the top to the 20th position in ease of doing business in the World Bank ratings and now has slipped to 11th position in Niti Aayog’s Innovation Index.

Asserting there was no hope for Punjab under Capt Amarinder Singh, the SAD president said “Capt lives closeted in his own world.
He is not available for his Ministers and Advisors.
You have seen this over the last few days.
The senior most Congress leader and the cabinet minister from this area - Rana Gurmeet Sodhi was thrown out of a car belonging to the CM’s cavalcade.
The ordinary person knows Capt has no love for him and that is why people shunned Capt’s road show on Thursday.
With no people coming out to meet him, the CM’s security was forced to use police personnel to throw flowers at Capt Sahab”.

Stating that just as the people has taught a lesson to the chief minister and left him waving his hand towards empty roads, Mr Badal said the people would teach a similar lesson to Congress candidate Raminder Awla who was an outsider and had nothing in common with the people of the area.
He urged the people not to get befooled by the false promises of Awla.
“Just like his boss Capt Amarinder who took a false oath in the name of the holy Gutka Sahab, the Congress candidate is also raising making claims of establishing factories in the constituency.
“Please ask him what he did for Guruharsahai from where is purportedly belongs”, Mr Badal added.

The SAD president also highlighted how Jalalabad had witnessed a phenomenal growth during the SAD- BJP government.
“More than Rs 350 crores were spent on waterworks.
Rs 800 crore on sewer system and streets.
Schools and colleges were also built in the constituency.
In stark contrast not one brick has been laid in Jalalabad after the Congress government took over the reins of the State.
Development work has been stopped and money released to villages was withdrawan”.

Mr Badal also appealed to the people to vote to Dr Raj Singh Dibbipuria and lay the foundation for the advent of the SAD- BJP government in 2022.
Others present on the occasion included former minister Janmeja Singh Sekhon and Parambans Singh Bunty Romana.
