Just when we thought there was a limit to the ways Patrick Mahomes can show off his arm strength, he astonishes us once again. This time it was something straight out of Michael Vick’s Powerade commercial in 2004. Watch as Mahomes takes a couple steps, rears back and fires an absolute missile on to upper concourse of Arrowhead Stadium.

The sky’s the limit, or maybe even higher, for him and he is only heading into his age 24 season. In his first full year as a starter, he won league MVP, earned a selection to the Pro Bowl and pushed the Patriots to the limit in the AFC Championship Game.

Mahomes is a signal caller who can simply do it all. The long game, short game, with his legs or dishing out no look passes like Magic Johnson, he is truly a special player. He looks like the right person to sit in Tom Brady’s throne as the best quarterback in the NFL once he finally decides to hang up his cleats.

At one time, this guy was the backup to Alex Smith. Who knows if the year on the sidelines actually helped Mahomes' career, but either way it will be exciting to watch him amaze us like this for the next 15 years.
